Hands On, Project Based Learning

Project-based learning (PBL) asks students to investigate and solve actual problems and create authentic products as means of assessing mastery. Preschool through eight grade students are continuously encouraged to take a direct and focused "real-world" approach to study.

Rather than rely on standardized tests as a lone measure of mastery, Community Day students showcase their work throughout the year during Learning On Display.

Learning on Display evenings offer students the platform to reflect on the process of learning with parents and the larger community while providing them an opportunity to receive authentic feedback and recognition for their hard work.
