Panther Pride

At Community Day School, school spirit is woven into daily life through one of our most beloved traditions—Panther Pride. From preschool through 8th grade, students are placed into multi-age teams that stay together for the entire school year, building friendships across grades and learning the value of teamwork. Throughout the year, these Panther Pride teams come together for special events and spirited challenges, earning Panther Pride Points along the way. On Panther Pride Days, students dive into exciting activities that tap into a wide range of skills and interests, while Spirit Days invite every child to express their individuality with fun, themed dress-up (or dress-down!) opportunities.

Panther Pride is more than just a tradition—it’s a joyful experience that brings the entire school together. By creating opportunities for students across all grade levels to connect, collaborate, and cheer one another on, Panther Pride fosters a true sense of belonging. It celebrates creativity, teamwork, and school spirit, while also highlighting the unique gifts that each child brings to the CDS community.

Through shared challenges, spirited activities, and fun traditions, every student feels seen, valued, and essential to the success of their team. In this way, Panther Pride strengthens bonds across ages, builds confidence, and reminds us all that we are all part of the Community Day School family.
