Interscholastic Athletics

Work Hard, Be Nice, Have Fun!

At Community Day School, athletics are an important part of the whole-child experience. Our Junior Varsity and Varsity Athletics program offers students the opportunity to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and experience the pride of representing their school in competition. While we celebrate victories, our greatest focus is on teamwork, sportsmanship, and joy—helping students grow both on and off the field.

Students can choose from a wide range of sports, including soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, cross country, and more. Whether they are seasoned athletes or trying a sport for the very first time, every child is encouraged to get involved, learn, and discover the value of perseverance and collaboration.

Beyond athletics, students have opportunities to participate in artistic and academic extracurricular programs, creating a vibrant community where every interest and talent is celebrated. By thoughtfully balancing homework expectations and ensuring that arts and athletics do not overlap, we make it possible for students to explore multiple passions without unnecessary stress. The result is a culture where students are empowered to try new things, take healthy risks, and enjoy the camaraderie of being part of a team. In every practice, performance, and competition, they discover the joy of belonging, the satisfaction of effort, and the lifelong lessons that come from being part of something bigger than themselves.
